Sue Kohlmann

Sue has over 30 years of office administration and bookkeeping experience as an employee and as an independent contractor. Her focus is to help clients develop solid administrative practices and procedures allowing owners to focus on their specific business. Instruction in best practice for business solutions allows for employee empowerment and customer satisfaction. Positive reinforcement and refinement provides a favorable environment for continued growth. Helping clients establish a professional, businesslike culture.


Sue works closely with business owners providing cost effective and timely bookkeeping services allowing their CPA firm to focus on the company, industry trends, long term business forecasting, compliance and tax strategies.


Sue is a member of the Independent Business Association of Wisconsin (IBAW), Milwaukee Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce (MMAC) and Greater Brookfield Chamber of Commerce.

Steve Kohlmann

Presently, Mr. Kohlmann is contracted through Kohlmann Management Group, as Executive Director for the Independent Business Association of Wisconsin (IBAW). Steve has been involved with the organization for the past nine years serving on various committees, as a past president and most recently as interim executive director. As Executive Director he oversees day to day operations of the IBAW including programing, member relations, marketing & communications, strategic alliances & outreach and fundraising.


Previously Steve was with Heritage Printing / Cultivate Communications in Brookfield, WI. and contributed to the development of campaign strategies, determining project timelines, managing the production process and planning for major initiatives including interactive and direct marketing, consumer and business-to-business advertising campaigns. Steve has been a regular featured speaker at the Milwaukee Biz Times Expo on Marketing & Communications topics. He has sat as a member of the Business Advisory Council for Special Needs Adoption and United Cerebral Palsy Association of SE Wisconsin. Steve is a former Supervisor for the Town of Brookfield and has also sat on the Tax Assessment Board of Review. Presently he is on the town's Architectural Control Board.


Steve was also appointed to the Community Development Authority (CDA) a governmental body overseeing the $200 million dollar retail development in Waukesha County known as “The Corners”.
